Update 11/7

Scraps is now free (down from 99¢). I’ve more or less stopped development, although if a killer feature pops into my head, who knows. Many thanks to those who bought my app and supported development and/or reviewed Scraps on the App store.

New in Scraps 1.0.1

Scraps now has a bookmarklet — copy and save text from Safari with one button. Follow the link for installation instructions.

Quick saves.

Scraps is lightweight and launches quickly — if you've copied text from Safari it's a quick trip to your clipboard. (It's even faster with the bookmarklet. See above.)

Keep track of your pastes...

When you copy text from most iPhone applications, formatting, links and other information are included along with the plain text. A copy-and-paste from Safari carries URL information, so you know where you got something from.

...and your thoughts.

Add notes to your pastes. They're preserved when you archive them.

Email to archive.

One button for archiving everything — Scraps will compile everything in one email and send it to a specified address. Or you can email a clip individually. Scraps will also "quote" the copied text so it's easier to read in an email.
